4 Affirmations for December

I love affirmations because they can help us to feel grounded while aligning our focus. These four affirmations will help you ease into the new year, while also keeping you uplifted during this holiday season.

The holiday season can be difficult for many reasons, and having our tool kit handy– like affirmations, love ones, and our self care resources can motivate us to act on certain things, to keep us focus on our goals and purpose and can empower us to replace  negative behaviors with more positive ones.

As this year comes to an end, I feel a sense of gratitude. I am grateful to see a new month and to close out the year and welcome the start of something new. 

Earlier today, I found myself reflecting about life and my close friend who recently passed away a few months ago. Her birthday is this month. She always supported me and the work I do here- this meant so much to me. She loved life and always expressed gratitude. And that’s one thing she left me with- to live, to enjoy the moment, and to be grateful.

Since her passing, I have been more intentional with how I am using my time, who I am spending my time with, just making time for the little things, and the little moments with my family. 

This month, I am holding on to gratitude. Grateful for a new day and my health. Life is a gift. Sounds cliche, but it is something that most take for granted. I am also holding on to celebrating life. Life is worth celebrating. You are worthy of a good time and a good life.
